August 12, 2025 - Over the past few months, Private 5G has rapidly developed into the premier network solution for industry. However, we still see many organizations struggling with the complexity and cost of this new technology. Current designs require on-site infrastructure and skilled IT personnel, which is an impractical model for medium-sized organizations or those spread across multiple locations. The first Cloud-Controlled Access Point on the market

Celona’s AerFlex makes implementing a Private 5G network incredibly simple. The only hardware required on-site is an AP. No on-site servers, racks, or complex cabling. The solution utilizes Local Data Breakout—managing in the Cloud while keeping data local—to make management flexible and straightforward. Furthermore, the technology ensures low latency and limits data leakage.

Cloud management, but keep the data local

As we mentioned, AerFlex splits management and data. One is in the Cloud, and the other is local. Celona calls this "Smart Split." This split is possible because Celona has its own OS, Cloud, and management platform. This strong vertical integration allows Celona to determine which functions should be performed where (Cloud vs. Edge) and to tailor applications to specific use cases.
