Orchestrator AI: How you can manage your Celona Private 5G network with Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini

September 3, 2026 - Deep 3GPP knowledge is no longer required to get started with Private 5G. In Celona's new management platform, Orchestrator AI, specialized AI agents make the work of IT administrators much easier. Celona goes a step further than other Private 5G vendors, such as Druid Software and Ericsson, which primarily use AI as an AIOps model to analyze telemetry and data. Orchestrator AI truly takes work off your hands and integrates seamlessly with well-known LLM tools such as Claude, OpenAI, and Gemini.

AIOps vs. Agentic AI

Most Private 5G and Wi-Fi vendors deploy AI as a traditional AIOps model. This boils down to using AI to analyze telemetry, log files, and historical data to populate dashboards. Agentic AI goes a step further and not only tells you there is a problem, but independently performs analyses, points out root causes, and recommends concrete corrective actions. It transforms network management from passive monitoring into an active workflow.

Bring Your Own LLM

With Orion, organizations are not locked into a specific AI model. Celona calls this principle Bring Your Own LLM (BYO-LLM). Organizations easily connect their favorite enterprise AI model, such as Claude, OpenAI, or Gemini, to the network platform and thereby retain full control over their own AI strategy, data security, access rights (SAML SSO / RBAC), and API budgets, while the AI model has real-time visibility into your network's performance.

These integrations occur via REST APIs, webhooks, event streams, and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and can also be used to connect Orion with ITSM systems and other enterprise applications. Check Celona's website for more information.

Get Off to a Flying Start with Standard Workflows

It probably sounds like a mouthful. AIOps, REST APIs, MCP, … But it is simpler than you might think. To help IT administrators get started, Celona has created a number of standard workflows in Orion that you can apply immediately. Once you get the hang of it, there is also plenty of room to create your own personalized workflows tailored to your situation. Additionally, Orchestrator AI can always be used as a traditional management platform to manually manage the network.
