This means that protocols such as Multicast (IGMP Snooping), QoS, and Precision Time Protocol (PTP) are processed reliably and predictably.

For example, RUCKUS Pro-AV Switches prioritize PTP traffic. While NTP is fine for standard networks, it is far too slow for professional audio. After all, you want 2 speakers to produce the same sound on a stage. Due to this priority, "jitter" (variation in delay) has no chance, even if the switch is busy with other data traffic.

The products of the aforementioned technical partners are also compatible with the management platform RUCKUS One (R1) when you connect them to the Pro-AV Switches. This means you can manage your Access Points, Switches, and audio and lighting installations from one screen.
