RUCKUS strengthens their Wi-Fi 7 offering with the R370

May 19, 2025 - Last week, RUCKUS Networks announced their first Entry-Level Wi-Fi 7 Access Point. This R370 is designed to get the maximum out of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with advanced technologies, such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4K QAM. What are the benefits of MLO & 4K QAM?

APs with support for Multi-Link Operation can use multiple frequencies simultaneously. In this case, the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. For example, connect a mobile device to 2.4 GHz and a laptop to 5 GHz to enable simultaneous connections, or connect one device to both, after which the network chooses the best path for the best speeds.

4K QAM provides higher data transmission and spectral efficiency. This is necessary for supporting many clients in high-density environments.
