Our team
Alcadis has a specialized team of Network Engineers with expertise in IP connectivity and Wi-Fi. Our Engineers are trained professionals who hold certifications including CWNE, WiSE, ATP (Wireless Professional), ACSE (Networking), ACFE, SCCP (Security), and VCA.
How do we work?
To provide sound advice on hardware selection and network configuration, it is crucial to first gain insight into the location and the network requirements/specifications. This can be achieved through our Site Survey Services. Based on an intake form, we will advise you on which of our site survey services best fits your situation.
Predictive Site Survey
Applicability: office buildings, retail, schools, hospitals, healthcare institutions, event venues, cinemas and theaters, hospitality, etc.
Delivery: reporting including a heatmap and kit list.
Lead time: 5 working days after order placement.
With a predictive site survey, it is possible to estimate wireless coverage without actually having to perform a measurement on-site. This is extremely useful if you have a standard environment, are working on a project at a location that is temporarily closed, or want to map out the situation for buildings that have yet to be constructed.
On-site Meting
Applicability: city centers, event grounds, campsites, holiday parks, beaches, sports complexes, airports, cruise ships, highways, etc.
Delivery: reporting including a heatmap and kit list.
Lead time: contact within 5 working days. Max. 5 working days on-site.
Our engineer will visit the location to map the radio spectrum and detect sources of interference. This measurement serves as the basis for selecting the installation points. It is also possible to have performance tests conducted to determine the most suitable hardware, location, and settings for the access points.
On-site Nameting
Applicability: on all existing Wi-Fi deployments
Delivery: comprehensive reporting featuring an as-built heatmap and advice if potential improvements are identified.
Lead time: contact within 5 working days. Max. 5 working days on-site.
The on-site post-deployment survey is intended to validate a built infrastructure against the design upon which the construction was based. We map the radio spectrum and detect any present sources of interference. Our findings and recommendations are then compiled into a comprehensive report.
Troubleshooting
Applicability: on all existing Wi-Fi deployments
Delivery: reporting with findings, recommendations, and other relevant information.
Lead time: contact within 5 working days for a plan of approach
Intended to identify the source of the issues you have reported. After an initial intake, we will schedule an online meeting to discuss the case. Based on this meeting, we will determine a further plan of action to decide whether remote or on-site support is required.
