Omada Fusion: A Gateway and Hardware Controller in one
April 29, 2026 – You no longer need to purchase a separate Gateway and Hardware Controller to manage your Omada network on-site. With the new Fusion Gateways, you have everything you need in one package. And there is a wide range to choose from! There are 9 different models available, from the Fusion Wi-Fi 7 to the Fusion Max 10G PoE. We have listed them all for you and explain when each is the best choice.
More features, less complexity
The Fusion Gateway is a blend of various existing Omada products. For example, the Fusion Max Gateway consists of an Omada Gateway, OC400, Camera/Video Management, and 48TB of video storage. These components remain available separately, but if you want a complete solution in a single purchase, the Fusion Gateway is the best option.

Within each Gateway type, there are at least 2 models to choose from. In the table below, you can see what each model contains. Good to keep in mind: Omada considers a network with 200 devices, 2000 clients, and/or 16 VIGI cameras as a medium to large network. Everything below that is considered compact.
