November 10, 2024 - The RUCKUS ICX7150 has had a good run, but it is time to look ahead. The series is now officially End of Sale, which means something better is waiting for you. Which models are End of Sale?

Since March 10, 2025, most ICX7150 models have been officially End of Sale. Since January 2026, the last three as well — the ICX7150-C12P, ICX7150-C10ZP, and ICX7150-48ZP — can no longer be ordered. With that, the entire ICX7150 series has been discontinued. These are all the models that are no longer available:

Choose the right successor

Fortunately, you do not have to be left empty-handed. RUCKUS has two strong successors lined up: the ICX8200 and the ICX8100. Both are direct replacements for the ICX7150 — and both are a step forward.

The ICX8200 is the most comprehensive successor. It supports higher PoE power budgets, has faster uplinks, and is specifically optimized for the latest Wi-Fi 7 access points, such as the RUCKUS R350, R750, R670 and R770. In addition, the ICX8200 switches are stackable, allowing you to manage multiple switches as a single entity. This saves time and costs.

Suppose you manage a hotel or office with 4 floors. With the ICX8200, you can easily group the switches into stacks of 4, ensuring smooth roaming between floors and centralized management of everything. Simpler than it sounds, and immediately noticeable to your users.

Or choose the ICX8100

Do you have a smaller environment or do you not want to pay for features you will not use anyway? Then the ICX8100 is your choice. This switch is designed for hotels, schools, and apartment complexes that simply need reliable connectivity — without unnecessary complexity. It is just as stackable and supports PoE, so you are ready for the future with the ICX8100 too.
