One rock-solid foundation: controller functionality is always built-in

Before looking at the differences, it is worth noting what these models have in common. Each of these 3 devices combines a powerful gateway with a built-in hardware controller (comparable to the functionality of a standalone OC200, now that the older OC220 is no longer available) in a single compact housing that you can place on a desk or mount on the wall.

Additionally, the Fusion line serves as the ideal, future-proof alternative to the popular ER7212PC, which is also no longer available.

You manage the equipment (up to a maximum of 30 Omada devices and about 300 clients per gateway) via the same Omada Cloud Portal or App, entirely without license fees. You also do not compromise on software features: functions such as IDS/IPS, content filtering, QoS, advanced VPN protocols, and SD-WAN are standard on every model.

• Fusion G+: Running a small office, retail store, or hospitality venue where Gigabit on the internal network is more than sufficient? Then the Fusion G+ is the cost-effective entry-level option, as well as the perfect replacement for the EOL ER7212PC. You benefit from the integrated controller without needing heavy network hardware.
• Fusion 2.5G: Setting up a school or hotel with Wi-Fi 7 Access Points and want to utilize full speeds? Then the Fusion 2.5G is the logical choice for full 2.5G speeds on your internal network.
• Fusion 2.5G PoE: Managing a location with many access points or cameras that you want to power without a separate PoE switch, such as a hotel or retail chain? Then the Fusion 2.5G PoE is your best option. With a total PoE budget of 110 watts, you can directly power a large portion of your equipment.

Because the gateway and the built-in controller (comparable to the trusted OC200) come together in a single device, you simply need fewer separate devices.
